Bert Schmidt

Bert Schmidt has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the media and arts industries. Bert is currently a Board Member at Loyalty Science Lab. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at the Virginia Arts Festival. From 2007 to the present, Bert was the President and CEO of WHRO, a broadcasting company. Bert also held the same position at WHRO/WHRV-FM. Before that, they were the President and General Manager at WVPT from 2002 to 2007. Bert's career began in 1992 at WCNY, where they held the position of Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer until 2002.

Bert Schmidt's education history begins in 1980 when they enrolled at Alfred University. Bert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance in 1984.

In 1985, Bert Schmidt pursued further studies by enrolling simultaneously at Syracuse University College of Law and Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Bert successfully obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. During the same period, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
