Liz Humes

Liz Humes is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in public broadcasting, notably as a Producer at WHRO Public Media since October 2014. Liz has served as a Television and Radio Pledge Producer, Short Features Reporter, and Substitute Host for "HearSay with Cathy Lewis," demonstrating versatility in content creation and audience engagement. Previously, Liz hosted, edited, and produced the weekly radio program "Wordy Birds" from January 2005 to January 2015. Liz's leadership experience includes serving as President of WRIR Richmond Independent Radio, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and fundraising initiatives.
