Peter Swann

Peter Swann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational and technological leadership. Currently serving as Group Operating Director at WHSmith since June 2017, Peter oversees E-Commerce, Information Technology, Supply Chain, and Logistics, as well as GNFR Procurement. Prior to this role, Peter held various key positions at Debenhams from December 2012, including CIO and Operations Director, where responsibilities encompassed Information Systems and Logistics. Peter’s career began at WH Smith in September 2000 as IT Director/CIO and includes a notable tenure at Marks & Spencer from 1990 to 2000 as Chief Systems Architect.
