Sk Yong

SK Yong is an accomplished professional in wireless technologies with extensive experience in management and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems at Apple since October 2013, SK Yong has also held various leadership positions in several industry consortia and alliances, including Vice Chairman of the Board at the Wi-Fi Alliance, and Vice Chair of the Steering Committee for the Aliro Working Group at the Connectivity Standards Alliance. Significant achievements include initiating the Miracast program and leading its successful launch, as well as key contributions to standardization efforts across various organizations. SK Yong's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Wireless Communications from The University of Edinburgh, a BEng in Electrical and Electronics from The University of Manchester, and an Executive Project Management certification from Stanford University.
