Shayndel Jones

Shayndel Jones is an accomplished media professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Media: Contemporary Journalism from Washburn University. Currently serving as an Assignment Editor and Digital News Producer at WIBW TV since February 2023, Shayndel is responsible for writing articles and managing their distribution across the WIBW website and social media platforms. Previous experience includes a role as a Digital Communications Specialist at the Kansas Department for Children and Families, where Shayndel led social media campaigns and designed graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, and as a Publications Writer for the Kansas Highway Patrol, where press releases and various media content were created and managed. Shayndel also held leadership positions at Washburn University Student Media, contributing to the management and production of the Kaw Yearbook, and gained early experience as a Copywriter Intern at Advisors Excel.
