Culinary Teacher - Wichita North High at Wichita Public Schools - USD259

Dr. Chris Foster is an experienced educator currently serving as a Culinary Teacher at Wichita North High School since August 2021 and a member of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee and Co-Chair of the Education Committee at CHADD beginning February 2024. Previously, Dr. Foster taught at USD 260 from August 2008 to August 2022, focusing on Teen Leadership and the lead role in the Success/Reality 101 program. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes founding the Global School of Wichita, catering to home-schooled children and those with special needs, while also teaching French and social studies. Additional roles include working as a Sales representative at Imagine That Toys and a teacher with Wichita Public Schools from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Foster holds multiple degrees from Wichita State University and a Premier Degree from the University of Strasbourg in French Language and Literature and Political Science.
