Carla Williams

Carla Williams, M.A., serves as the Director of Communication for Upward Bound at Wichita State University since January 2015, bringing extensive experience in the music industry as the Founder and CEO of CM Wonder Entertainment since March 2010, providing consulting for aspiring artists and record companies. Previously, Carla held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Fo Yo Soul Entertainment from October 2004 to February 2012, overseeing various aspects of artist management. Carla's earlier experience includes roles as Director of Marketing at EMI Music, Verity Music Group, and Benson Music Group, as well as Director of Radio Promotions at Word Records. Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Wichita State University, along with education from Oral Roberts University and the University of Cincinnati, Conservatory of Music.
