Zach Gearhart

Zach Gearhart joined Wichita State University in 2014 as the Assistant Director of Government Relations and was promoted to Director of Government Relations in 2017 and then appointed Chief of Staff for the President in 2021. The position gives him responsibility to manage multiple special projects related to the President’s priorities working with the various divisions and departments at the University as well as external actors in the community to do so. He also helps develop and administer government relations strategies for the University in consultation with University other executives. Mr. Gearhart graduated with a bachelor's in political science in 2011 and received a master's degree in public administration in 2013 from Wichita State University.
