Louise Kirby (nee Ring)

Louise Kirby (nee Ring) has a wealth of experience in the food industry. Louise started their career in 2007 with a work placement as an NPD Technologist at Samworth Brothers. In 2009, they joined Tesco PLC as an Assistant Buyer in Household, and then moved up to a Trainee Buyer in the same department. In 2011, they began working in Product Development at Tesco, holding roles as Product Development Manager in Plant Based, Prepared Produce, Yoghurts & Desserts, Crisps, Snacks & Nuts, and Technologist in Sugar & Chocolate. In 2020, they moved to Wicked Foods as Director of International Business Development and Director of New Product Development. Louise also set up Kirby NPD Ltd., a consultancy firm specializing in Product Development and brand growth. Louise is currently working for Wicked Kitchen, Wicked Foods, and Gathered Foods with the Sarno Brothers, pushing plants in order to make a positive difference to the planet.

Louise Kirby (nee Ring) attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies, General.
