Gisele Gelin has extensive work experience in financial management. Gisele began their career in 1989 as a Sr. Financial Analyst at Sun-Sentinel, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2012, Gisele served as the Director of Finance at Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. Gisele later returned to the same organization in 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer. In addition to their roles in various companies, Gisele also runs their own financial consulting business called G.Gelin Financial Consulting, which provides non-profit and for-profit financial management services.
Gisele Gelin completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Nova Southeastern University in 1999. Prior to that, their education history includes attending Grand Bahama Catholic High School. Gisele also pursued another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Nova Southeastern University, although the specific year of completion is not provided.

Women In Distress is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County, Florida. Our mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy.We strive to accomplish this mission through a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter program, individual counseling, support groups and professional trainings which are aimed at educating the community on domestic violence. Our confidential services are offered free of charge to victims of domestic violence no matter their age, gender, race or socio-economic status.
