Kathleen Orejuela

Kathleen Orejuela's work experience includes being a Lead Corporate Counsel at WideOrbit, where they started in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Corporate Counsel at WideOrbit from March 2023 to September 2023. Before joining WideOrbit, they were an Advisor to the Chief Diversity Officer at the University of Southern California from August 2021 to May 2022. From November 2013 to January 2018, they served as a Legal Counsel at Kutak Rock, where they reviewed, drafted, and negotiated complex contracts and provided legal counsel to clients. Prior to that, they held various roles at GE Healthcare, including Legal Counsel, Transactional Attorney for Asset Purchase Team, Leader of Commercial Center of Excellence Legal Team, and Contracts and IT Licensing Attorney. Kathleen started their career as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP in September 2001 and then worked as an Associate at Goodwin from September 1998 to August 2001.

Kathleen Orejuela has a strong educational background. Kathleen earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Boston College Law School from 1995 to 1998. In 1991 to 1995, they completed a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Boston College. More recently, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Southern California. Furthermore, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in May 2022.
