Floris van Alkemade

Floris van Alkemade is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a diverse portfolio in technology and support services. Currently serving as Director and co-Founder of Elanza, since June 2018, Floris also holds the position of Managing Partner and co-Founder at Solid Ventures, focusing on early-stage IT investments in the Netherlands. Additional roles include Advisor for multiple innovative companies such as ForwardIncubator and Slimmer AI, as well as Board Member of the renowned Calefax Reed Quintet. With a comprehensive educational background including a Master's degree in Econometrics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an IDP in Corporate Governance from INSEAD, Floris has significantly contributed to various sectors through strategic advisory and investment roles in numerous organizations. Past leadership includes chairmanship at Coolgames until its acquisition by Keesing Media Group in 2023.
