Bruce Wootton is an experienced engineering executive with a robust background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at WideSense since January 2019, Bruce oversees the creation of digital twins of vehicles using advanced technologies. Previous roles include Principal Consultant for IoT Data, Communication and Control, and Director of Software Development at NEXTracker, where Bruce played a significant role in deploying a multi-gigawatt fleet of solar trackers. Bruce's extensive experience spans leadership positions at companies such as Brightbox Technologies, Lookout Mobile Security, Symantec, Vontu Inc., and IP Dynamics. Bruce holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
