Christine Monaghan Shrm-Scp

Christine Monaghan, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has extensive experience in human resources. Christine has been with Widget Financial since 2012, where they currently serve as the SVP of Human Resources. In this role, Christine takes charge of policy development, recruitment and retention strategies, performance programs, employee relations, legal compliance, salary and benefit administration, employee communications, and training and development programs. Christine fosters a workplace environment that aligns with the values and mission of the credit union.

Before joining Widget Financial, Christine worked at Erie General Electric FCU from 2007 to 2012. Christine held the positions of AVP of Human Resources from 2009 to 2012 and Human Resources Manager from 2007 to 2009.

Prior to that, they worked at the Manufacturer & Business Association. Christine served as HR Supervisor from 2005 to 2007 and HR Coordinator from 2003 to 2005.

Their career in human resources began in 1990 at the Manufacturer & Business Association as a Training & Development Associate. Christine held this role until 2002.

Christine Monaghan, SHRM-SCP, SPHR completed their education at Mercyhurst University from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications including SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in February 2015, as well as the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM Certification in February 2015.
