A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and postgraduate studies Tempus CUBIS at the Universities of Milan, Amsterdam and Leuven in the field of management, including support through IT systems (1994). A graduate of the Advance Management Program of the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra in Barcelona (2007).

In the years 1992-2000 he was associated with the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he was the Director of the Department of Public Companies and Finance.

In the years 2000-2003 he was the Vice-President of the Stock Exchange SA During this period, he also served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Centralna Table of Offers SA

In March 2003, he was appointed a Member of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski SA supervising the area of ​​corporate banking and held this position until March 2006. He was also involved in the Bank's restructuring and public offering processes. During this period, he also chaired the Supervisory Board of Bankowy Fundusz Leasingowy SA

In the years from 2006 to 2009, he was the President of the Management Board of Bank Pocztowy SA. During this period, the Bank underwent a thorough restructuring.

From 2005, he was a member of the Council of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, where from 2006 to 2008 he was the President of the Council.

Since 2006, he has been the Treasurer and Vice-President of the Management Board for Financial Employers of Poland.
