Marcus P.

Marcus P. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Marcus started their career at HAN Dataport CAD-Systeme GmbH as a Marketing Specialist in 1995. Marcus then worked as a Sales Manager at Speedikon Software GmbH from 1997 to 1999, followed by a role as Branch Manager at A-Null EDV GmbH from 1999 to 2003. Marcus then became the Head of Consulting at Reality Consult GmbH from 2003 to 2012. Marcus then joined Austrian Standards as a Volunteer Expert in 2010 and ISO - International Organization for Standardization as a Volunteer from 2013. In 2017, Marcus became a Part-time Lecturer at IMC Fachhochschule Krems, followed by a Lecturer Program Management role at Fachhochschule des BFI Wien in 2019. Marcus'smost recent work experience is with Wien Energie GmbH, where they served as the Head of Construction and Project Procurement from February 2020 and as the Head of PMO - Organizational Development from September 2012 to January 2020.

Marcus P. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project and Process Management from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in December 2018 and November 2018 respectively. Marcus also holds the certification of Certified Senior Project Manager / IPMA Level B from p-m-a Project Management Austria in July 2016. Furthermore, Marcus obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009 and the Prince2 Practitioner certification from the APM Group in July 2008.
