Omar Velandia

Omar Velandia has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design and web development. Omar started their career at APlab in 2014, where they worked as a multimedia designer, modeler, and architectural renderer. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a research assistant at Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca.

In 2016, Omar joined Inproext as a multimedia designer, focusing on graphic design, illustration, animation, video editing, and web design. Omar then returned to Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca later that year to work as a multimedia designer, specializing in graphic design, illustration, animation, video editing, and 3D modeling.

In 2018, Omar joined the Instituto de Investigación de Recursos Biológicos Alexander von Humboldt, where they held the positions of Junior Professional 1 and Junior Professional 2. Omar'sresponsibilities included webmaster duties, motion graphics animation, video editing, and multimedia design.

From 2017 to 2019, Omar worked at Horizontal Solutions Group Synergy as a web designer and later as the web design lead. In this role, they were responsible for leading web design projects and managing a team.

In 2021, Omar joined Sodimac Colombia as a Web Content Design Analyst, focusing on the design of web content.
