Philip Irle

Philip Irle currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at WIKA Mobile Control since 2022. Prior to this role, Philip held the position of Global Head of Control Systems at TII Group from November 2019 to January 2022 and worked at Liebherr Tower Cranes as Leiter Simulation, Software- und Funktionsentwicklung from July 2017 to November 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Manager Control Technology at HOMAG and working in Automation and Control Engineering at Schuler Group. Philip began a career in academia as a Scientific Assistant and PhD student at KIT from May 2007 until December 2012. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Mannheim Business School, a Ph.D. in Maschinenbau from KIT, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Elektro- und Informationstechnik from Universität Karlsruhe, along with studies at Capernwray Québec. Currently, Philip is pursuing a PhD in Mechatronik, Robotik und Automatisierungstechnik at KIT.
