Jimmy Wales

Jimmy Wales is the Founder and CEO of WikiTribune, a position held since January 2017. Wales is also the Owner of Wikia, Inc. and has served as a Board member of the Wikimedia Foundation since June 2003. Previously, Wales was the Executive Chairman of The People's Operator from 2014 to 2015 and the Founder of Wikipedia from 2001 to 2007. Educationally, Wales earned a Master of Science in Finance from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University, having completed secondary education at Randolph High School.
