Stella Provelengiou has been working in the field of agronomy since 2015. Stella began their career with a traineeship at the Agricultural University of Athens, where they conducted experiments on phytotoxic activity of selected Medicinal and Aromatic plants to weeds and bioindicators, as well as becoming familiar with the procedure of hydrodistillation. In 2016, they completed their Graduate thesis Research on Phytotoxic activity of selected Medicinal and Aromatic plants to weeds and to bioindicators, and Antifungal and antibacterial activity of selected Medicinal and Aromatic plants. In 2017, they completed a traineeship at the BENAKI PHYTOPATHOLOGICAL INSTITUTE (BPI), where they conducted research on Avena sterilis and Galium spp. with phytopathological tests and antifungal-antibacterial tests with ALS/ACCase and ALS. From 2019 to 2020, they completed a Master Thesis Project at Wageningen University & Research, and an Internship at Solynta. Stella is currently employed as a Specialized (in agronomy) columnist at Agrenda (GreenBox), and as a Senior Content Manager at Wikifarmer.
Stella Provelengiou obtained a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University & Research between 2018 and 2020. Stella also attended the Agricultural University of Athens from 2012 to 2017, where they studied the Faculty of Crop Science, including Agronomy, Plant Breeding, and Biometry.
