Anna Mazgal

Anna Mazgal currently serves as the Acting Executive Director at Wikimedia Europe, a position held since October 2022, and has been a Senior EU Policy Advisor at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since October 2017, focusing on free expression and access to knowledge. Previous roles include Director for Strategy and Development and Managing Director at Centrum Cyfrowe, where responsibilities involved strategic planning and fundraising; Program Coordinator at Ashoka, emphasizing fundraising and strategy for the CEE region; and Program Director at the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe, overseeing grants in democracy and human rights. As the President of ENNA and an International Officer at the National Federation of NGOs, Anna was instrumental in policy strategy, international partnerships, and grant management.
