Raja Amelung

Raja Amelung is a seasoned professional in product development and user experience design, currently serving as Director of Product Development and Co-Head of Software Development at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since April 2019. Prior to this role, Raja held various positions at SAP from 2007 to 2019, culminating in the role of User Experience Design Manager. Raja also contributed as a Mentor for Tech4Germany in 2020 and has an academic background as a PhD candidate, Project Manager, and Lecturer at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, where Raja specialized in Design Thinking. Raja holds a Magister in Communication and Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University and a Dr. rer. nat in computer science from the Hasso Plattner Institute.
