Stefan Kaufmann

Stefan Kaufmann has accumulated diverse experience in the fields of public policy and digital mobility. Currently serving as a Referent at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since July 2022, Stefan focuses on public funding and goods within the Politics and Public Sector team. Previously, Stefan worked at Stadt Ulm from June 2016 to December 2021, holding roles as Projektleiter for the "Stadtlabor" project and Koordinator for various F/LOSS projects aimed at enhancing interconnected, multimodal mobility, including "OpenBike" and "digitransit." Stefan also served as a Digitalspezialist at Deutsche Bahn for a brief period, providing consultancy on integrating Open-Data communities with the launch of the Open-Data portal. Stefan holds a Diplom in Medieninformatik from Ulm University, where studies were completed in September 2016.
