Valerie W.

Valerie W. is currently serving as the Community Communications Manager for Wikibase at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. since September 2022, where the focus is on supporting open-source collaborative knowledge base software. Prior experience includes a role in Community & Memberships at Impact Hub Munich, project management in Content Solutions at REPUBLIC Marketing & Media Solutions, and work as an Audience Development Researcher with Stichting Creative Coding Utrecht, funded by Creative EU. Valerie has a background in communication and marketing through co-organizing a citywide program for the transmediale and CTM festival and has hosted various festivals, contributing to community building and content creation. In earlier roles, Valerie worked as a Sales Representative at Estudio Hispánico and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Business from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, with additional studies at the University of Vienna.
