Liz Morris

Liz Morris is a Lead Recruiter at Wikimedia Foundation. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Access Emanate from March 2015 to November 2015. At Access Emanate, Liz was responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in developing and implementing HR plans that attract, develop and retain employees to ensure the agency’s business goals are achieved.

Liz’s other responsibilities included scheduling new employee orientations, preparing orientation materials, updating and submitting reports to payroll, maintaining the iCims candidate database, coordinating and scheduling candidate interviews, corresponding with candidates, managing employee referrals and candidate tracking, administering HR orientation for new hires on their first day, facilitating the performance review process, drafting documents including offer letters and departure letters, planning and scheduling training sessions, maintaining HR records and employee files, and assisting the HR manager with ad-hoc projects.

Liz Morris has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation from The Art Institutes. Liz also attended Lamar High School.

Liz Morris reports to Julie Brown, Director of Global Recruiting. Liz Morris works with Tamika Fourquean - Recruiter, May Hashem - Recruiter, and Lisa Hiraide - Recruiting Associate.
