Njideka Okafor

Njideka Okafor is a software engineer who has worked for PwC, Ericsson, Parkway Projects Ltd., and Accenture. Njideka is currently a contractor for the Wikimedia Foundation.

Okafor began their career as a technology consulting intern at Accenture, where they assisted in the integration of business technologies and strategically developed test-case scenarios. Njideka was then promoted to software developer at Parkway Projects Ltd., where they effectively organized and managed client expectations.

In 2018, Okafor joined Ericsson as a network design and optimization engineer. In this role, they were responsible for configuring and deploying EAR files on primary servers, editing and updating functional design documents, and leading a team of 7 in the introduction of an internship impact online review system.

Okafor joined PwC in 2019 as an assistant manager. In this role, they continued to develop their skills in technology integration and management. Njideka also co-developed TIBCO training documents that are used by several departments in the company.

Okafor is currently a software engineer III (contractor) at the Wikimedia Foundation. In this role, they are responsible for developing software that meets the needs of the Foundation’s users.

Njideka Okafor has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
