Rachit is a campaign, communication, and partnerships professional with more than 14 years of experience managing the strategy and delivery of various social movements for diverse thematic areas.

He is a Senior Movement Communications Specialist at The Wikimedia Foundation and focuses on creating a two-way dialogue with community members across Asia.

Rachit joined The Wikimedia Foundation from Save the Children, where he worked as a campaign manager for the last 6 years. And delivered public-facing campaigns focusing on gender and children's rights, including the 100-year celebration focusing on early childhood care and development.

He has also worked with the Nobel peace prize-winning organization Doctors without Borders and led the Indian coalition for action/2015 (a global movement of 4000 organizations) with an ambition to spread grassroots awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2021, he was also selected as an Atlas Corps Scholar.

He started his career with international sporting events like the Commonwealth Games, Arab Games, and Hockey India League.

He believes in the power of a conversation to change public behavior and challenge mindsets that inhibit social development.
