Phillip Hyun has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Their experience includes serving as CEO of Gamevice (2017), Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Board Member of Gen.G esports (2017), President & CEO of Nexad Systems Inc. (2002), Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of PacificWest Energy Solutions, Inc. (2006), Executive Board Member of Boulevard, Inc. (2014), President of LAKANA (2014), and General Manager of ETG a division of Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. (2014). Phillip has also served as an Investor for SuperLayer (2021) and Strategic Advisor for Ardius (acquired by Gusto) (2021). Additionally, Hyun has been a Board Member and Chair of the Technology Committee for the Theirpanic Scholarship Fund since 2015.

Phillip Hyun attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science.
