Richard Mills is a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge since May 2014. Previously worked at Lancaster University as a Research Associate from May 2013 to April 2014. Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Social Statistics from Lancaster University. Currently serving as the Director of Research at The WikiRate Project since January 2015. Involved in projects such as The WikiRate Project and ChainReact.

Wikirate is an open data platform powered by a diverse community that collects, analyzes and shares data on company commitments, actions and impacts on people and the planet. Data WikiRate has open data on companies from all sectors, covering their environmental, social, and governance performance. Community Collaboratively assess and engage companies to tackle global challenges and improve people's lives. Anyone can join, and anyone can (re)use the data. Impact WikiRate and our community build tools with the platform's open data to positively impact social and environmental challenges. Organization WikiRate International e.V. is the non-profit organization hosting the WikiRate platform. It develops the data system and tools the WikiRate community needs and supports them in using the technology to help them achieve their goals.
