Katherine Humphries is an experienced Interpretative Programs Manager at Historic Sotterley, where responsibilities include developing educational programs on the North American Slave Trade and leading group tours. With a background in historical interpretation and education, Katherine has served as the St. Mary’s County District Coordinator for the National History Day Contest and has managed a significant collection of artifacts as a former Collections Manager. Currently an Independent Researcher focusing on Russian propaganda and military history, Katherine has also worked as a Researcher for Wikistrat and has extensive teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor and Internship Coordinator at the College of Southern Maryland. Additional roles include Webmaster for The Cold War Museum and Historian for St. George's Episcopal Church, along with research positions at the Institute of World Politics and Westminster Institute. Katherine holds a Bachelor's degree in History from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Certificate in Political Warfare and Public Diplomacy from the Institute of World Politics.
