Robert Riel

Robert Riel is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Wilcox Industries since April 2021, Riel previously contributed as an Electrical Engineer at American Power Conversion, where innovative hardware for power management solutions was developed. Riel co-founded Makeitlabs, New Hampshire’s first Makerspace, fostering technology education and community engagement. Early career experiences include design and testing roles at Levant Power Corporation and leadership in the Formula SAE project at UMass Lowell, where skills in electronics design and collaboration with engineering teams were honed. Riel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
