David Finkel

David Finkel has had a varied and extensive work experience. David has served as the Executive Director at The Stronghold Fund since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Development & Communications at the Wild Salmon Center from 2007 to 2018. From 2003 to 2007, they held the position of Development Director and Conservation Manager at California Trout. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager and Independent Contractor in various e-commerce and tech companies from 1999 to 2003. David also has experience in policy and research roles at the Henry's Fork Foundation, Washington Water Trust, and US Fish & Wildlife Service from 1997 to 1999. David started their career as an Expedition Director at Wilderness Ventures from 1996 to 1998.

David Finkel has a Masters degree in Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College. Before pursuing their Masters, they attended Colgate University, however, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
