Melaney Dunne

Melaney Dunne is a seasoned professional in conservation science, currently serving as a Salmon Watershed Scientist at Wild Salmon Center since August 2022. Prior to this role, Melaney worked as a Durable Protection Strategies Associate at The Nature Conservancy from December 2021 to August 2022 and was the Executive Director at Coquille Watershed Association from January 2017 to December 2021. Melaney's academic background includes a Master of Science in Conservation Biology, with a focus on Fisheries and Aquatic Biology from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2017, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology with an Ecology emphasis and Environmental Studies, specializing in Aquatic Biology/Limnology from Loyola University Chicago, earned in 2015.
