Scott Carroll

Scott Carroll currently serves as the Head of Character Animation for the new Peanuts feature at WildBrain since March 2025. In addition, Scott is a member of the Short Films and Feature Animation Branch at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since June 2018. Previously, Scott was the Global Head of Animation at Mikros Animation from May 2021 to February 2025, overseeing multiple feature films and episodic projects while maintaining quality across studios in Paris, Montreal, and Bangalore. Scott's extensive experience includes significant roles at Blue Sky Studios, where leadership involved directing animation teams for films like The Peanuts Movie and Ferdinand. Scott also worked as a Senior Mentor at Animation Mentor, an animator at Industrial Light & Magic, and in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Lieutenant. Scott holds an MFA in Character Animation from the Academy of Art University and a BS in Business Management from the United States Coast Guard Academy.
