Wildcat Discovery Technologies
Josh Zak has worked in a number of roles since 2014, starting with a Research Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University. During their time there, they also held the roles of Head Orientation Counselor, Teaching Assistant for the Mellon College of Science first-year seminar, and Orientation Leader. In 2015, Josh worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. From 2017 to 2022, Josh was a Ph.D. Candidate at Caltech before becoming a Scientist at Wildcat Discovery Technologies.
Josh Zak attended Pittsburgh Allderdice High School from 2009 to 2013. Josh then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, and Japanese from Carnegie Mellon University between 2013 and 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at Caltech, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
