Sander Otten is an experienced project coordinator specializing in human rights, climate change, and sustainable development. Currently serving as Project Coordinator for Wilde Ganzen since July 2022, Sander focuses on the rights of communities reliant on natural resources. Previously, Sander held various roles at PAX for Peace, including Project Leader for a significant initiative funded by the US State Department on missing persons in Colombia, and Program Officer for the Latin America Programme. Sander also has consultancy experience with the Coordinadora Andina de Organizaciones Indígenas, involvement with Broederlijk Delen vzw on extractive industry issues in Peru, and worked as a Junior Expert with Solidaridad in Guatemala. Early experience includes a role with Peace Brigades International, providing protection for human rights defenders. Sander Otten holds a Master's degree in Development and International Cooperation from Universidad del País Vasco and an MSc in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam.
