Elana Frank has extensive experience in animal care and education, currently serving as a Wild Animal Keeper in Herpetology with the Wildlife Conservation Society since May 2018, where responsibilities include assisting with a captive breeding program for an extinct in the wild species of toad. Elana previously worked as a Teaching Fellow and Teaching Assistant at Fordham University, a Shopkeeper and Workshop Instructor at The Sill, and a Commercial Outreach Associate with the NYC Department of Sanitation. Early career roles include Research Assistant for the Bolivian Amphibian Initiative and a Campus Representative for Peta2. Elana holds a Master of Science in Biology with a focus on Ecology and Evolution from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary. Additionally, Elana has engaged in various volunteering and internship experiences related to environmental sustainability and education.
