Emily Darling is an accomplished conservation scientist with extensive experience in coral reef conservation. Currently serving as the Director of Coral Reef Conservation at the Wildlife Conservation Society since July 2015, Emily leads global initiatives in coral reef science while managing a multi-million dollar grant and developing innovative technologies. In addition to this role, Emily has contributed as an Associate Conservation Scientist and Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto. Previous research includes pivotal work as a David H Smith Conservation Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a postdoctoral study focusing on climate refugia. With a PhD from Simon Fraser University, Emily's impressive background includes collaboration with esteemed organizations and a commitment to advancing marine ecology and conservation.
