François Sandrin

François Sandrin is a Natural Resource Management Technical Advisor at the Wildlife Conservation Society since October 2017, focusing on sustainable natural resource management through leadership in wildlife management, community engagement, and governance. Previous experience includes serving as Site Coordinator for the Sustainable Wildlife Management program, aimed at balancing wildlife conservation and food security for indigenous populations, and as Assistant Project Manager for a Biodiversity Action Plan in Central Africa. Earlier roles involved consultancy work with Fundacion Science International and CIFOR, specifically in wildlife and hunting activities monitoring and reforestation in Colombia and Gabon. François holds a degree in Agro-développement International from ISTOM, completed in 2014.
