Janet Onguka currently serves as the Rights and Conflict Sensitivity Coordinator at the Wildlife Conservation Society, focusing on social safeguarding systems, indigenous peoples' rights, conflict sensitivity, and gender mainstreaming. With extensive experience in project management within the sectors of gender-based violence, protection, and conflict management, Janet has held leadership positions at Reach Alternatives and Smile Again Africa Development Organization, where responsibilities included project planning, stakeholder management, and technical oversight. Previous experience also includes managing gender and protection programs at Hope Agency for Relief and Development. Janet holds a Bachelor's degree in Community Development from St. Paul's University and a diploma in Social Work from Intraglobal Training Institute.
