Kerry Hynes

Kerry Hynes currently serves as the Events and Volunteer Manager at Project Invent, where responsibilities include planning and facilitating events, managing partnerships, and overseeing volunteer engagement to support educational programs centered on design thinking and innovation. Previous roles at Project Invent include Partnerships and Recruitment Manager, focusing on outreach and relationship-building to expand the organization's reach. Kerry has a substantial background in education, having worked as a Sustainability and Conservation Educator and Makerspace Coordinator with the NYC Department of Education, alongside advisory roles at the Wildlife Conservation Society. Additional experience includes participation as a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow at National Geographic and various teaching positions within the NYC Department of Education, contributing to curriculum development and student engagement in conservation and sustainability initiatives. Kerry holds multiple degrees, including an M.S. in Special Education and an M.A. in Conservation Biology.
