Felippe Durán Valiñas Gaspar dos Santos

Felippe Durán Valiñas Gaspar dos Santos has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Felippe started their career at Wildlife Studios as a Game Engineering Intern, where they developed gameplay and metagame features for various games and improved in-house tools. Felippe then became a Game Engineer, working on multiple released and beta games, collaborating closely with product managers, game designers, and artists. Felippe later took on the role of Lead Game Engineer, leading the development of Tennis Clash, a multiplayer sports game for mobile, and defining the game's custom multiplayer protocol and base architecture. Felippe then transitioned to a Staff, Lead Game Engineer position, where they played a key role in the birth of the new Metagame Modules team, defining the technical vision and roadmap, implementing core functionalities, and mentoring new team members. Most recently, Felippe became a Senior Staff, Lead Game Engineer, leading the development of a multiplayer architecture and infrastructure for an unreleased game. Felippe'sresponsibilities included defining and developing communication protocols, server-side architecture, and implementing client-side prediction and reconciliation. Throughout their career, Felippe has demonstrated expertise in multiplayer game development, technical leadership, and mentoring.

Felippe Durán Valiñas Gaspar dos Santos completed their Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2021 to 2023. Felippe also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the same university, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2011, they participated in an exchange program at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In 2015, they completed a General Business Program at the Business Training Company, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they hold a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera, obtained in 2021.
