Nancy Douglas has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Nancy began their career in 1994 as the Executive Director for the San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble, where they managed all business aspects of the organization. In 1997, they served as the Associate Director and Director for the San Luis Obispo AmeriCorps Program, where they recruited, interviewed, selected, and trained a 50-member team to mentor high-risk teens. In 2000, they worked as a Technical Writer for First Virtual Corporation, revising and illustrating technical product manuals. In 2006, they founded and owned Northern Utah Property Management, expanding the business from 12 rental units to 80 in six years. In 2012, they took on the role of Handwriting Analyst for Writemeaning, where they analyzed people's handwriting to reveal their personality traits. In 2014, they became the Senior Project Manager for Genealogists.com, managing 50-60 large scale genealogical research projects. In 2016, they were the Ambassador of Buzz for Wildnote, and the Fine and Performing Arts Support Coordinator for Cuesta College. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have held the roles of Director of Customer Success, Director of Sales and Service, and Director of Sales for Wildnote.
Nancy Douglas attended Humboldt State University from 1985 to 1987, where they studied General Studies before transferring to California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Nancy completed their Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy at Cal Poly in 1991.
