Daisie Ogawa

Daisie Ogawa is a Principal Engineer at Wildtype, with prior experience as a Bioprocess Engineer III at New Age Eats, where significant contributions were made in process development and scale-up for hybrid cultivated meat products. Daisie served as a Senior Scientist at Bolt Biotherapeutics, leading CMC efforts and drug substance manufacturing, and also held roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, focusing on perfusion cell culture and process development. Earlier career stages involved impactful research and development positions at XOMA and Bayer HealthCare, as well as academic research and assistant roles at James Cook University and the University of Georgia. Daisie holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from James Cook University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Marine Sciences from The University of Georgia.
