Colin Cloherty

Colin Cloherty is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate at Wiley Rein LLP since April 2024. Previously, Colin held the position of Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorneys' Offices from October 2019 to March 2024, where responsibilities included investigating and prosecuting violent crime in the District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to that, Colin was an Associate at Wiley Rein LLP from September 2016 to October 2019, focusing on government contracts and white-collar practice groups. Colin's legal experience began with various roles, including a Notes and Comments Editor at the Maryland Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board during law school at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
