Arfan Sivarooban

Arfan Sivarooban is an accomplished student and leader currently serving as Co President, Executive Vice President, and Vice President of Academics at the Faculty of Science Students' Association. Arfan is also a Summer Research Student at the Shoichet Lab, focusing on affinity-hydrogels for controlled drug delivery in retinal regeneration under Dr. Molly Shoichet. In addition, Arfan holds positions as a Residence Life Don and Research Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University, contributing to significant research projects related to stem cell differentiation and anti-cancer therapies under Dr. Nirosha Murugan. Previous experience includes roles as a Biology Tutorial Instructional Assistant, Chemistry Lab Instructional Assistant, and Research Assistant at the Suits Lab/Sidhu Lab. Arfan has a background in operations from The Moving Consultants and is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University.
