Colleen Loomis

Colleen Loomis is an Associate Professor at both the Balsillie School of International Affairs and Wilfrid Laurier University, where responsibilities include research, teaching, and academic administration since May 2018 and July 2003, respectively. In addition to academic roles, Colleen Loomis promotes optimum childhood development through research with Better Beginnings, Better Futures-Partir d'un Bon Pas and serves as a consultant for Promoting Girls' Optimum Development. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral position at Stanford University School of Medicine from July 2001 to June 2003 and serving as an Executive Board Member for the Literacy Council of Montgomery County. Educational qualifications include a postdoctoral fellowship in psychology from Stanford University Medical Center and a PhD in Human Services Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
