Haakon Shetelig

Haakon Shetelig is an experienced professional in the maritime and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Wilhelmsen Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, Haakon worked as a Senior Consultant in Ship Lifecycle Management at DNV from April 2020 to July 2021, and previously held the position of Vessel Manager at Wilhelmsen Group, managing offshore vessels and HVDC-converter stations from September 2013 to March 2020. Haakon began a career in maritime management as a Maritime Trainee at Wilhelmsen Ship Management. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, alongside an exchange program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additional experience includes a summer internship at Aker Solutions MMO focused on HVAC systems and a military background as a Sergeant in the Norwegian Armed Forces.
