John Robin Nilsen

John Robin Nilsen is an experienced maritime professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Crew Manager at Wilhelmsen Group since January 2020, Nilsen also holds the position of Crew Director at Songa Crew Management since January 2017. Prior roles include Director of Maritime Operations at Norwegian Crew Management AS from 2011 to 2017, and Maritime Personnel Manager at the same company from 2002 to 2011. Nilsen's early career included significant positions at the Norwegian Maritime Directorate, serving as a maritime emergency advisor and port state inspector, as well as a Master Mariner at Bergesen d.y. ASA, where Nilsen progressed from deckboy to master mariner.
