Donald Mencer

Donald Mencer is a highly experienced educator and researcher with extensive expertise in analytical and instrumental chemistry. With a career spanning over three decades, Mencer has served as a Full Professor at Wilkes University since August 2001, where responsibilities include teaching Analytical and Instrumental Analysis, General Chemistry, and advanced courses such as Forensic Chemistry and Nanotechnology. Previous positions include Assistant Professor roles at Penn State University and Aurora University, and Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mencer has conducted research on protein design at the University of Pennsylvania and engaged in various studies concerning electrochemistry and photochemistry during tenure at Lamar University. Mencer holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Chemistry and Math from Frostburg State University.
